Hey there,
Good morning, folks! We had a very busy week before the big holiday weekend--which we hope you enjoyed as much as we did. Now, however, it's back to business for all of us. We've got a good tip or two for you today, along with some bright news for Apple and a shocker from Google...oh yeah. You don't want to miss this!
Daily Wish from AmEx
Well, lucky American Express users, we've once again received a Daily Wish email we thought would interest you: not only does this week hold goodies like the Fighter Pilot for a Day package (3 at $697.00, a steal!) but it has normal person priced things too. If you're in the market for a new camcorder, consider this Canon HFM300 Flash Memory model. Thursday, June 3rd is the sale date, and you've got this down pat by now, right? You've registered your card, signed up for the emails, wait on the day of the sale to see what time the products will be released...this camcorder retails for about $700, so the $390 price tag makes it a no brainer.
There are only five units available at that price, so happy clicking! You can comfort yourself by trying for one of the twenty half price SD980 IS Powershots if you miss out on the camcorder. Don't thank us--it's our job to look out for you!
2 Million iPads Sold
That's right, y'all. Not only has the iPad smashed expectations from tech pundits to Apple themselves, they've now announced the official two millionth tablet sold. Brilliant, you say?
Oh yes.
Less than 60 days ago the craze started, and nine more countries will be graced with the iPad's presence soon. According to the press release, Steve-O has this to say: "Customers around the world are experiencing the magic of iPad, and seem to be loving it as much as we do. We appreciate their patience, and are working hard to build enough iPads for everyone."
So sweet, right?
Google Makes the Switch
We know it's probably "just for the security benefits" but the news that Google's phasing out all it's Windows computers in favor of the Mac is tickling us pink. The Financial Times has the original report and quotes several employees citing the recent attacks on Google in China as the reason for the change. Until now, Google's employees have had a choice in OS, but now approval to install Windows on a company laptop requires approval from waaaay up the food chain.

Till tomorrow, Newsies...
